Around Evans, specialist offices tend to cluster near hospitals and in medical office parks, and wait times for a consultation run from a few days for an endodontist to several weeks for a busy orthodontist. Most consultations across Georgia are free or low-cost and come with a written treatment plan and price; ask whether the fee is in-network for your plan, what sedation options exist and how many visits the treatment takes. A second opinion is normal for implants, jaw surgery and full-mouth reconstruction, and reputable specialists expect it.

Went in today for a consult for my 16 y/o with Dr Scott. My daughters dentist had been suggesting we go for a consult for the one wisdom tooth she has. I had zero plans of actually scheduling her surgery today. Couple of things, front staff were friendly and courteous. Dr Scott came in with a hello and got right to his plan of action and then to show me a picture of her sinuses to tell me theres always a risk that could be messed up in the process, but that the risk was low. After about 90 seconds he had made his way back to the door again and made the comment that they would schedule me somewhere else. I had to ask permission to ask a question, since he didn't ask us. I asked why such urgency to have it removed. She's had zero issues as of now, later down the road if xrays start showing something we can revisit. So many of us (including my older two kids) still have ours without issue. His response was "good question" His answer was basically just in case they cause a problem down the line. And said the likelihood of that was 90+% chance according to "studies" They then shuttled me to the financing office where she went over the cost ($888 for one tooth if anyone needs reference)

Great patient care and knowledge to deal with my dental issues. I had a tooth that needed to be pulled and now I'm set for the implant. Friendly staff and Dr. O'Neal is excellent!

I was highly dissatisfied with Dr. Scott's bedside manner. I went to the consultation ($90) for literally a 1 min evaluation for wisdom teeth extraction. I spent more time with the finance clerk. The day of my surgery, he was late returning from lunch. I was extremely nervous as I waited because I have never been put to sleep for a procedure before...my heart rate was through the roof. The nurse somewhat calmed my nerves by explaining the things she was doing to prep for the procedure. However, when he came in, he greeted me with a generic "hey" and immediately went to the side counter in the room and began talking to the nurse. After a few seconds, she came up to me and administered something (I know now it was anesthesia) in the IV without warning me and then returned to talk to him at the counter. I was later (40min) waken up by a different person with a bloody gauze hanging out my mouth and still disoriented. I never saw Dr. Scott or the nurse again. I was asked to walk down a hall to my waiting ride. I stumbled several times with little support and no wheelchair. I was given a sticky note size paper with very vague instructions. I had several questions that I just chose to

Dr. Trotter and team are amazing. βBadassβ is what I think I told them are I woke up but I canβt remember, lol!!! I had a fractured root canal removed yesterday and the experience was great. Check in was smooth, pre-op (vitals and IV) went well. She got the IV on the first stick, which is always a plus. The surgery took about 20 or so minutes. I didnβt feel groggy or βout of my mindβ from the anesthesia so no YouTube videos of me!! Honestly, I havenβt had any pain and very little swelling. There was some bleeding afterwards but it resolved quickly. Prior to the surgery, the consultant went well. The office is clean and inviting. Everyone was pleasant and professional! I love good customer service and this office delivered. Overall 10/10
